Uneven bases and bad bevels create difficult skiing and boarding!
Tuning tip! First, make sure your bases are clean. Then hold your ski or board upside down looking down the base with a light at the end. Then hold the true bar over the base of the ski or the edges to see the amount of light under the bar.
If you're tuning, a true bar will help you tune better. Before you start and while you're tuning, you need to know the flatness of your skis and the degree of bevel on skis and boards. A true bar helps you keep your ski bases flat and allows you see the degree of bevel you have on your skis or board. This true bar is accurate to 1/1000 of an inch, is only 5" long and is made of case harden steel.
