What does CV stand for? ConVertible! It doesn't mean you can take the top down but it means you can change the sunglasses to goggles and back to sunglasses again by simply removing the EVA foam eyecups from the frame of the sunglasses. And of course, with a simple snap, you can replace the eyecups to make them goggles again.
But why have both? Goggles can be big and bulky on your face and regular sunglasses can allow your eyes to tear. But Panoptx ingeniously developed the perfect combination with their CV models.
THE FRAME: The Churada frame is chocolate in color and designed for SM-MD faces. They come with a removable adjustable strap which works great for holding the glasses to your face just like a goggle strap. The strap holds the glasses securely to your face while going down a mogul run, bouncing the waves in your boat or riding your bike.
THE LENS is made of PureTec in NXT, has 100% UV protection, are optically correct, de-centered, tapered and offer a high contrast for optimum performance in variable light conditions. This model has the Photochromic dawn/dusk copper lens. The lens adjusts automatically from dark copper in bright sun to a faint tint in low light. In short, it's a great ALL AROUND lens. And when the eyecups are in place, you have a double lens goggle. And a double lens is better than a single lens for anti-fogging!
Also included is a specialized cleaning cloth, a protective zippered case and strap.
