The THERM-IC Powerpack Liion is designed for boots already pre-wired with heating elements. Some boots that are pre-wired are from Atomic, Dalbello, Salomon and Burton.
The Liion Powerpacks are unique because they use Lithium-ion batteries which are lighter in weight than AA or nickel metal hydride batteries. Lithium-ion batteries weigh almost half of what the other system batteries weigh and are smaller in size.
THERM-IC Powerpack Liion features......
Easy to install. Just clip them on, plug them in and turn on the power.
Comfortable warmth up to 18 hours with freshly charged batteries. The Liion batteries can be charged up to 1000 times.
3 levels of heat that allow you to determine how much heat you want and determine how long your batteries last.
3 heat settings:
Low setting: 37C or 99F for up to 18 hours of use.
Middle setting: 113° F / 45° C for up to 8.5 hours.
High setting: 72C or 161F for up to 3.5 hours of use.
Keep in mind you don't have the power on all day. Just when it's needed. For instance, you would turn the power off when inside.

1 global battery charger that works in the USA, UK and Europe. Offers controlled charging with charge time about 2 hours. The charger has an additional feature that prevents overcharging which allows for longer battery life. You need a power converter for other countries.
