Impluse Control- The warmth is transferred from the battery pack to the heating element by impulses.

Comfortable warmth up to 12 hours with fresh alkaline batteries (not included).
You can select between 3 settings to determine the amount of heat you desire.
Setting #1: 35C/95F and lasts 12 hours.
Setting #2: 42C/108F and lasts 5.5 hours.
Setting #3: 68C/154F and lasts 2 hours.
Results are based on fresh AA Alkaline batteries. Expect about 10-20% less results when you use rechargeable or disposable batteries. Keep in mind, you don't have the heat on all the time, only when you need it. For instance, you turn the power off when you go inside for lunch or when your are warm.
You'll receive 2 clip on battery housings, 2 anatomic 3D shaped heated Thermicsoles insoles with wires and instructions. The Thermicsoles insoles give great support for stability and better balance. They are made of high quality EVA foam. The heating element are built into the toe area of the insole so all you need to do is pull your current insole out, trim the Thermicsole to the same size and slide it back in. You can opt to run the wire for the battery right up the back or put a small slit in your boot liners and run the wire between the liner and shell. (We recommend the later.) It took us less than 1/2 hour to install. Detailed instructions will guide you through the installation procedure.
