Tuning file- 10 inch

The steel edges on skis and snowboards are made of a harder metal than files you get in a hardware store! You can't tune your edges with a file that is made of a softer metal than your edges. It will wear down the file immediately. That's why we offer you files that are specifically designed for ski and snowboard tuning. These files are Rockwell tested at 62, which mean they'll sharpen your edges over and over again and last a long time. The file has parallel sides with smooth edges to prevent base marring. The 10" file speeds up the job by taking off more than an 8", almost twice as much. Order the 8" file to do the finishing work. Both 8" & 10" files are pictured. The larger file is the 10".

Tuning hint! Use one side of the file for one ski and the other side for the other ski. If you're tuning a snowboard, use one side of the file for one edge and the other side for the other edge. This way the file wears down evenly and will last longer.
