This is not your ordinary ski pole. The Scott Series 3 Ovalized is unique in design becuase instead of a round shaft, it has an oval shaped shaft. An oval shape is more expensive to make but the results make a stronger more aerodynamic ski pole. It was designed for skiers who want a lightweight ski pole for aggressive skiing.
