The SX22 mini roof kit is designed to help fit your rack to vehicles with short roof lines similar to a 2 door vehicle. Some vehicles can not get the proper distance between the racks (which should be 24") to hold your equipment correctly.
In the photo, you see a rack and the SX22 mini roof kit. Notice the rear rack does not have a place for the hooks to attach to the vehicle. The SX22 Mini Roof Kit includes the bars going from the front rack to the rear rack and the middle support bar, not the rack. The rack is purchased separately.
