Keep your hands extra warm! Mittens are warmer than gloves because they trap the heat combined by all your fingers into one area. You can keep your fingers warmer by surrounding your hands with better insulation and more heat so why not do both? The Heat Pocket mittens from Seirus are designed with a nylon outer shell for durability, an inside liner with DryHand™ technology that is waterproof, windproof and breathable just like GoreTex. Then they add Thermolite® insulation for down-like softness without the bulk. A soft wrist band is added to keep the cold and snow out.
Under normal conditions, these mittens should keep your hands warm but there are days when all that may not be enough. So Seirus gives you the option of adding heat packs in the zippered compartment on the back of the hand and fingers. We recommend Heat Factory heat packs because they give up to 10 hours of heat. The mittens are available in black because black collects sunlight heat. They also have curved fingers for more comfort. Don't forget to order "Glove and Hat" heat packs to keep your hands warmer.
