The Ski Leash should be thought of as a learn-to-turn device. Any child strong enough to balance on skis and slide down gentle slopes, but not yet able to turn and control speed in a wedge is a prime candidate for the Ski Leash.
There are 2 straps, each about 7' long. This gives enough distance between the child and adult. Each strap clips on or off easily to a waist pack with leg stir-ups. The leg stir-ups keep the waist pack from twisting and pulling up. When the straps are not in use or you are going on a chairlift, they can be stored in the handy front pouch of the waist pack.
Any child inexperienced enough to need a Ski Leash is probably inexperienced enough to need a Tip Lock or Edgie Wedgie as well.
Recommended for kids 2-8 years old.
