The Ski Leash should be thought of as a learn-to-turn device.
Any child strong enough to balance on skis and slide down gentle slopes, but not yet able to turn and control their speed in a wedge is a prime candidate for the Ski Leash. The Ski Leash helps the person behind control their speed and help start their turns.
Features......
Straps: The 2 detachable straps are each about 7' long. This gives enough distance between the child and adult.
Leg stir ups: Leg stir-ups help keep the waist pack in its proper position and from twisting and pulling up on the child.
Waist pack: You don't want the straps dangling from the child on the chairlift so each strap clips off easily and can be stored in the waist pack. Later when the child knows how to turn on their own, the waist pack can be used for on hill small items.
Recommended age range: Kids 2-8 years old.
Our comments: Any child inexperienced enough needing the Ski Leash should also be using a ski tip connector.
