About the mittens.....
Outer Shell: Constructed of 100% polyester synthetic leather coated with RTex® which is waterproof and breathable.
Insulation: High tech Primaloft® One insulation keeps your hands warm because it is as warm and soft as down but is water and wind resistant.
Inner lining: Made with soft RTex® polyester for comfort and breathablility.
Articulated fingers: Fingers are curved like your hand for comfort.
Pull tabs: Have trouble pulling your mittens on? The convenient pull tabs make it easier.
Velcro strap: A cinch strap with Velcro closure help keep out the elements.
About the heating......
Lithium-ion batteries: Each mitten has 2 small rechargeable Lithium-ion batteries which are sewn into the wrist of the mittens. Batteries can be recharged up to 1,000 times. Batteries are not replaceable.
Heating elements: Each fingertip has heating wires that wrap around the fingertips giving you extra heat where you need it most. You also have a heat conductor which is located on the back of the palm for warmth.
About the HEAT: The heat is warm, not hot! Don't expect to have hot heat. The heat is designed to keep your hands warm and comfortable, not hot.
Power switch: To regulate the power you desire, all you do is press the button. Each mitten has 3 modes of heat and you can tell which mode you're in by the LED light. Keep in mind, you don't need the heat on all the time, just when you need it.
Battery charger: The universal battery charger works in the USA and Europe and charges both batteries at the same time.
The battery heated mittens have a one year warranty against manufactures defect.
The heated mittens are intended to keep your hands warm and the correct temperature level and heating duration depends on various factors, such as the charge of the power cells and the external temperature. Use the below table as a rough guide.

Keep in mind, you can switch to a full blast of heat when needed. Otherwise you stay in mode 1 or mode 2 to keep your hands warm.
