Heat FactoryŽ Toe Warmers are designed to go inside boots or shoes to help keep your toes toasty warm. They are half mooned shaped and have adhesive on one side to help hold them in place. When activated, the Toe Warmers will deliver heat up to 6 hours. If unopened, they have a shelf life up to three years so you can stock up.
How do they work? The heat packs are a soft light weight pouch containing a mixture of iron powder, charcoal, salt, sawdust and vermiculite. When you open the package, an oxidation process takes place and they
heat up. If the full 6 hour heating time has not been used, the process may be stopped by putting them in an air tight
container like a Zip-Lock baggie. Then later on, you can expose them again to the air and use the remaining 5 hours.
"Toe Warmers" are different from
the "Glove & Hat" heat packs because there is less oxygen inside a shoe or boot. The "Toe Warmers" are designed to go inside a shoes or boots where "Glove & Hat" warmers are designed for gloves, mittens and hats.
